Source Standards

All technical specifications come from manufacturer documentation. Install cost data comes from national electrician pricing databases and real homeowner project data. Rebate information is verified directly from state energy agency and utility websites.

Technical Review Process

We are recruiting a licensed electrician with EVITP certification to review all installation and technical content. Until then, content is reviewed by the editorial team against NEC code references and manufacturer documentation.

Review Schedule

All charger review pages are updated at minimum once per year. Rebate pages are reviewed quarterly. Install cost data is reviewed twice per year. Each page shows a "Last reviewed" date.

Commercial Independence

No manufacturer pays to be included in our reviews. Affiliate relationships do not influence rankings. The Amazon Associates tag (lvl2chargr-20) earns commissions on purchases regardless of which charger we recommend.

Corrections Policy

Technical errors (incorrect amperage, wrong NEC code references, outdated rebate amounts) are corrected within 48 hours of verification. We appreciate corrections from readers and electricians.
